A sad day

A very sad day today for our family as we said goodbye to our beloved Pepper. We will be forever grateful to Sara for the opportunity to say our farewell and to wish her peace. She will be deeply missed by all.

Just sent this email to some friends to pass along. We've taken dogs from kill shelters before- and found them homes on our own. I sure hope that someone can help this dog keep his life.

Yippee!! What a day. "That Guy" came home for lunch and opened the vacuum pack!! Yummy.

Mommy has finally made some progress on our new webpage and she is working with the Washington Area Humane Society to have instant donation links to our site! A very nice lady by the name of Faye is helping her out. I love it when she is happy!

While she was busy on the computer, I thought I'd go outside and enjoy the Spring smells. Something smelled so good that I rolled in it. Now we are going to get into the shower. Here's the bright side- I'll get to dry off serpentine style NAKED and in the dining room. Look out Baby!

Just hanging around today, waiting for Mommy to get off of the computer and take me on a Waddle. Dr. Dyer was nice and didn't give me a shot or anything! He said that I am one of his favorite animals. He gave Mommy a new flea & tick package for my back. Icky. It smells like Eucalyptus and now Dad (aka "That Guy") keeps calling me "YouCaLipToe".

Dr. Dryer said that I should lose some weight. Mommy said that she wants to lose weight too. I think its a STOOPY idea. Stay tuned for all of the gory details....

Yet another rainy day...

Its a rainy Thursday once again....Mommy hopes to work on her web page in progress later. Be sure to add the word BLOG to SpocktheDogBlog or you will get a different dog. We've already written to her...

Mommy has to take Grandpa to the Doctor today- and then she is taking me to see Dr. Dryer to look at a thing behind my ear. I don't like to visit him, but Mommy says that we are helping him pay his monthly mortgage. She laughs alot.

Mommy is worried about Grandpa's forgetfulness. Her memory isn't the best either- here is a quote from her:

"I already can't remember yesterday! For me- Every Day is new and full of adventure- and the Glass is ALWAYS Half Full! It's just a matter of remembering where the hell I put the glass!!! "

Learning the fundamentals...

Mommy has so many nice new friends on Twitter! @RomeotheCat just gave us a bunch of great information about fundraising and websites. Our mission is to have a link for the Washington County Humane Society and Angel Ridge Animal Sancutary up and running by the end of the week! We will keep you posted on our progress.
